With its double ball joint design, the Colles Gold Wrist Fixator provides a more simple and versatile method of distal radius fracture reduction. The dynamic fixator allows fracture manipulation in all planes and may be used for early wrist motion. Acute or gradual compression and distraction can be obtained for quick adjustment in length and additional ligamentoaxis. The preassembled frame allows the surgeon to rapidly apply the fixator for left- or right-hand use, while simple instrumentation reduces hospital inventory.
