CTVision™ consists of an ARTISTE™, ONCOR™, or PRIMUS™ Linear Accelerator and a modified SOMATOM® diagnostic CT scanner that travels on 2 parallel rails in the treatment room (called “CT-on-rails”), offers a unique, straightforward approach for Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT). CT-on-rails can be used for all diseases sites, however the major interest has been for anatomical regions that require exquisite soft tissue contrast and/or tumor motion management. The use of the same high quality imaging modality for both the planning and treatment imaging maintains the highest possible precision
