TROPT sensitive - One-step test for measurement of cardiac troponin T
TROPT sensitive detects cardiac troponin by a monoclonal antibody-based immunoassay. The test contains two cardiac-specific monoclonal antibodies, one of which is gold-labeled, the other one is biotinylated.
If troponin T is present in the blood sample, it forms a sandwich complex with the two antibodies. After separation of the erythrocytes the plasma passes the detection field and binding of the gold-labelled troponin T sandwich complex becomes visible as a red line (qualitative "yes/no" result).
