ENDOPATH Large-Port trocars consist of three separate components: an exchange rod, a dilating obturator with threaded conical tip, and a transparent trocar sleeve. The exchange rod is a rigid cylindrical shaft, blunt at both ends, 35cm long. The dilating obturator is tapered and threaded at the tip and designed to dilate an opening created by the 10/11mm or the 12mm ENDOPATH surgical trocar. The trocar sleeve housing contains an external gasket and internal flapper valve with a seal to prevent gas leakage when the exchange rod or instruments are inserted or withdrawn.
