The Diagnostics division of BioSource Europe develops, manufactures and markets high quality assay kits for in-vitro diagnostic use. The company has more than 30 years of expertise in development of immunodiagnostic assays (RIA/IRMA and ELISA).
Mission
The mission of the Diagnostics Division of BioSource Europe is to improve public health by developing and manufacturing immunoassays for accurate diagnosis of endocrine disorders.
We are dedicated to provide highly reliable quality assays and to deliver uncompromising support to our customers. We strive for meeting our customers needs through a long-term professional relationship and by representing a real added value.
Our company is driven by commitment to quality of products and services. All our products for in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) carry the CE mark and comply with IVD requirements. Product range
The Diagnostics division of the company has developed enzymo- and immunoradiometric assays for the diagnosis and monitoring of a wide variety of medical conditions such as thyroid disorders, fertility and reproduction disorders, diabetes, growth, bone and cartilage metabolism, cancer, cytokines, infectious diseases, biogenic amines.
In the last decades, basic endocrinology has rapidly evolved by the understanding of molecular mechanisms of hormone actions. For example, the study of the intracellular cascades activated by a hormone such as insulin will hopefully yield new therapeutic targets for insulin resistance and diabetes and lead to discovery of novel treatments for the metabolic derangement.
